Sautéing the garlic and red pepper flakes prior to adding the Chard really added a lot of flavor. I modified the recipe a little by adding scallions but it was still a wonderful blend of favors. As a side I prepared Bhutanese Red Rice in my rice cooker. It turned out rather bland even though I used some vegetable bullion to prepare it, so I added some German Knorr Garten Seasoning and a couple of handfuls of mixed kidney, black and great northern beans. It did taste a little better but still not as good as the Forbidden Rice. Once I started eating the Chard added the missing flavor to the rice. Over all I have to say this second cooked meal was a great success!!
